Throughout Trump's campaign he claimed that he would withdraw from the
North Atlantic Free Trade Agreement, commonly known as
NAFTA. President Trump called NAFTA a disaster for American workers. Today, President Trump has agreed
NOT to terminate NAFTA. However, he and the leaders of Mexico and Canada have determined that they will renegotiate the deal. The [hopeful] goal of the renegotiated treaty is to have it benefit each country (United States, Canada, and Mexico).
